Blackjack

Black Jack is a 13 year old gaited gelding who stands 14.3 with great conformation clean legs and great hooves! Black Jack is one of the safest most quiet and gentle horses we have had around. You can stand him in the aisle way and groom him head to toe, clip his ears pick his hooves and tack him up without him moving an inch. He is great in the wash stall and ties, loads and hauls without an issue. He is 100% kid to grandma safe for anyone and everyone to ride and enjoy, he’s the type of gelding you can leave sit for a couple months and pull back out without needing lunged before you just saddle up and ride out. Black Jack is smooth as they come and has an effortless natural gait and will move out if asked. He rides around easy one handed and has a nice whoa. We have tested out his mind and he was great to carry a flag, bounce and throw a ball over him and roll it under his belly, carry an umbrella, drag a loaded sled, and ride right up into the trailer. He is a phenomenal trail horse and will negotiate new terrain without fuss and is good going over logs, through mud, up and down ravines and steep grades as well as leading the group or bringing up the rear. He is a gentleman around other horses and is fine with dogs and equipment/vehicles. He will ride out alone with ease and doesn’t call for other horses or want to race back home. Black Jack is the ideal safe and steady horse for you and your whole family he will build confidence and take care of anyone you have around him. He is great for the vet/farrier and is good turned out with other horses. He sells sound without vices or limitations of any kind.
