Valor is a 4 year old grade tri color paint gelding that stands 15 hands tall with one brown and one blue eye. Valor has an in your pocket type personality with a ton of eye appeal, mane and tail for days and equally as pretty of a mover. He rides walk, trot and canter both ways, soft in his face and will ride collected in contact beautifully, moves off your seat and leg, lower headed and flat knee movement, side passes, leg yields, turns on haunches, excellent stop, easy transitions, steady back up and started on neck reining he also has a green flying lead change both ways. Valor has a quiet demeanor and isn’t phased by much he is also great out on trail rides and easily navigates rough terrain, over downed trees up and down steep grades and through water as well as traffic safe when out on the hard road and is also good with dogs. I’ve hauled him off property and he is the same horse as he is at home, doesn’t require lunging or being ridden down. He has been to the horse obstacle park and loved trying out all the obstacles from moving bridges, stair case, ponds, cowboy curtain, teeter totter and more! He rides english and western and has the look and movement to be a great hunter horse. I also believe Valor would be a great horse for ranch riding as he naturally travels with the headset and movement the judges are looking for in this quickly growing event. He has the maneuver training for all the classes in ranch riding as well. Valor is easy to work on for the vet and farrier, he stands tied single or cross tied, bathes, clips and loads. Quiet in stall and behaved in the field. He’s barefoot and sound with no health issues, current on everything.
