Texaco Star

Texaco Star (aka Tex) is a 15.3 hh, very handsome, 10 yr old palomino gelding, Tennessee Walking horse who has been rode as a trail horse. He is easy to catch, clip, bath, tack-up, load, and handle in anyway. He will flatfoot walk slowly on a loose rein or he will move on out when asked. He has a natural running walk gait. Tex has lots of experience and has been trail ridden in multiple states and in national forest. He has had 1 month of trail and bombproof training. He has been ridden around farm equipment, ATV’s, and over large noisy tarps. On the trails he is always great! Tex has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Kentucky and Tennessee. He will go up or down slopes, across creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. He has been rode around cars, semi, log, and dump trucks.
