Carmona SRF is a registered 2011 Andalusian mare by Utrerano VII x Evangelista MF. She is a half-sister to the famous Fuego XII, the 2008 Spanish Grand Prix dressage champion. Her sire is one of only four stallions to receive the Elite rating in the Spanish Studbook. Her dam is by National and Reserve National champion Navarre GF. Carmona is passported and microchipped. You will be extremely hard pressed to find a more impressively bred Andalusian mare today.

Her quality breeding is reflected in her perfect conformation and stellar movement. She has accolades behind her in both areas having been shown in regional Andalusian shows where she consistently won her classes in both conformation and movement. More recently, she has shown a lot of promise in local hunter/jumper classes in this area. She is ‘knees to nose’ with great footwork and form and always makes the right decision when approaching a fence. Carmona has three impressive yet comfortable gaits and significant transitions. Her trot can easily be sat or posted and her canter is likely the smoothest, most natural canter you will sit. She responds well to leg aids and has a very soft mouth. When asked, she works well into the contact but will happily go around in a looser rein.

Carmona is an incredibly dynamic and well-rounded person. While she’s a rockstar in the arena under English tack, she is also very light andhandy-bente for any Western rider. She will one-hand the neck rein, turn around, side pass, and has a big stop on her. She also has experience pushing cows and has been exposed to a variety of different livestock, even including Water Buffalo. As if it comes as any surprise, she is a dream to take out for a day of trail riding. With Carmona you can rest assured you will have the fanciest horse out on the trails this summer! She has trailered tovarioust parks to ride and camp from forests of Indiana to the sunny beaches of Florida. She is not easily spooked, will go out alone or with friends, and will cross any obstacle from water to downed trees. She has great stamina and will ride for as long as your heart desires!

Andalusian lovers will quickly notice how true her personality is to the breed. She is super intelligent and willing, which makes working with her a breeze. Like any great mare, she is super loyal and puts her heart into whatever you ask. Carmona is super easy to have in the barn and turns out with herdrd of geldings without issue. She has excellent ground manners and could stand for hours to be loved and groomed. Carmona stands for the farrier without issue, clips, bathes, and trailers like a dream. She is a pleasure to have around and as uncomplicated as they come.
