Diego is a 13-year-old Dun mustang gelding, standing at 15.2 hands and built like a brick house! Diego is THE all around horse! This horse is highly versatile and athletic, from level Parelli and liberty training to cross country, hunter jumper, trail riding, packing, and even some western pleasure and equitation. Diego has done liberty work since he was 1 year old, he knows the games, will side pass both ways with just pointing and was even taught to lay down and bow when he was younger! Diego rides English and Western and excels either way, He has been cross country jumped and done some hunter jumper training as well as dressage and Free jumped!

Diego has a ton of scope and takes and does not miss a beat. He has even taught some kids jumping lessons! Diego knows the basics of reining and western pleasure, has a great collection, sliding stop, simple lead changes and rollbacks. Diego will work just off your voice and legs and light off your legs and hands. Diego has pushed cows, been roped off, them, and helped us catch colts out in the pasture! With all of Diego’s Versatility, his all-time favorite is trail riding. He is safe in crazy and chaotic environments and very used to it! Riding in downtown Fort Collins, there is nothing this guy hasn’t seen—Semis, bikes, strollers, crowds, loud music, kids, dogs, etc. Diego is also very sure-footed and is excellent when it comes to packing or riding on steep terrain or rugged territory, we have even taken him camping!
