The sweetest, safest Appy I’ve ever laid eyes on! Dippin Dots is a 13-year Appaloosa cross gelding. He measures 14.2H tall and is…as my vet says…about a foot wider than every Appaloosa he’s ever seen. Dots are the perfect size for children and adults. He is quiet and gentle with a sweet, loving disposition. Dots rides both English and Western. He is smooth to ride and soft in the bridle. More whoa than go. He will do a slow easy-to-sit western jog or you can bump him into a more forward hunter/dressage trot. So versatile!

Dippin’ Dots is amazing on trails and has been ridden by children and beginners. He rides around traffic, farm equipment, donkeys, cows, dogs, etc. and never bats an eye. He rides out on the trails alone or in a group and will go anywhere you point him. He crosses water, mud, bridges, and other obstacles. My first time riding Dippin Dots, I loaded him up on a new trailer with no dividers and horses he didn’t know, mounted up on the side of a highway while talking on the phone, and went trail riding in a new location for 2+ hours.

He was perfect. Dots are great for kids or adults who want to play in the arena and build confidence on trails. He is a barefoot easy keeper and is up-to-date on shots, Coggins, floating, deworming, and hoof trimming. No vices or maintenance. Well-mannered and easy for all the basics – catching, leading, loading, tying, tacking, bathing, etc. Dots turn out nicely alone or in a group.
