“Gloria” – 14H, 8-year-old chestnut Haflinger mare. We have the unique opportunity to offer a home-raised, only one-owner. beloved personal/family horse. This sweetheart has been someone’s pride and joy, and she reflects that! She is an absolute doll to be around and so much fun. She is absolutely stunning. She is as wide as she is tall. She is also gorgeous, has a beautiful head, has a ton of self-carriage and elegance, and is absolutely as shapely as one comes! Gloria is incredibly smooth-gaited and easy to ride, and she rides the same horse once a year – once a month – or five rides a week. She has tons of natural rate and stop, she is always happy to plant to a stop at the mention of “whoa” – but is also still very light and forward and easy off of your legs!

Lots of feelings, and is very responsive, not one you have to “peddle” everywhere, she has a great work ethic but is also happy to rate down and stop anytime. Gloria would be a world-class entry-level eventer, Hunter/Jumper, and dressage. or Pony Club mount. Or she is an absolutely deluxe pleasure horse, family horse, trail horse, clinic, or competitive trail riding horse! Would also be great at the bridle-less competitions, she has lots of guidance for a big girl, and her rate and stop are about as always, there as they come in a horse!

This big and wide mare is an absolute blast to ride. She loves to go places, loves trail rides, loves parades, and loves going to town. She hops right in the trailer and is always happy to go to work! She loves people and loves to have a job. She has an absolutely incredible personality!!! She is very loving and affectionate. She gives kisses…. and smiles – on command!!! But still has very respectful, professional, tidy manners on the ground.

Gloria was just shod this week. Her teeth were also done by an equine dentist, and she had her ears preemptively treated for ticks. She was also power-packed and wormed. She is good to shoe, has great feet, and also goes well barefoot – if her new owner prefers her to be barefoot, we can have her boots pulled and trimmed prior to her heading to her new home. She will arrive at her new home up-to-date and ready to go to work!
