Midas Touch is a beautiful 13-year-old warmblood gelding with just a hair over 15.2 hands tall, a nice heavy bone/hoof, and the most beautiful coloring and eyes! Midas will ride English or western and is also trained to drive single or double! If you want an honest, quiet, hardworking gelding, this is your guy! He loves his job; no matter if you put a saddle or harness on it, he is ready to work for you! Midas is a fun ride and has some pep when you ask, we love bringing this guy out every day and talking about an absolute pleasure on the trails! He will go anywhere you point him over deadfall, through water, deep mud, you name it, nothing phases him. Out on the trail he is FUN to jump over natural obstacles, stone walls, big logs, gates, etc, he really has a blast doing it and is brave like any good field hunter should be!!! In the arena Midas will ride walk, trot, canter and takes both leads- he is a comfortable ride and comes back from working on a slack rein.

Not a lot phases this dude, we had him in the indoor with chunks of snow and ice sliding off and hitting the ground, and he never even blinked- just a good honest horse. Midas would make a great fox hunter, field hunter, hunter pace type horse or eventer! He has no funny business about him and thrives to please! He also just loves being a trail pony. You can saddle him up after sitting in a stall, you don’t need to prep him, and just hop on and head out, and he’s happy to go alone or in a group! He doesn’t mind other horses riding behind him or alongside him and will even pony a young one if needed. He is good around passing cars, machinery, dogs and other farm animals. Midas stands quietly to be groomed and saddled, is good at handling his feet, is good for the vet, and stands like a statue to be bathed and clipped.
