Standing 15.3hh and weighing in at approx 1,450 lbs this big 11 year old Draft Cross earns his name!! The Big Show “Biggie” was born and raised here in KY. The gentleman who raised him was a big man with a great idea to raise a big stout gaited horse that could carry his 6’6″ 375 lb 6’6″ lf through the mountains all day. So he went out, found him a big Percheron mare, and bred her to his buddy’s stud. In about a year, Biggie made his appearance and came out waiting!!

Throughout the years, he did everything with Biggie, from trail riding to pulling a wagon, mowing hay, and plowing his garden every spring. All his grandkids had learned how to ride on Biggie because he was calm and laid back. Biggie is very easy to work with. He is easy to saddle and bridle. It stands to mount and rides off slow and easily. He will walk along like a qh or can move on out when asked. He has a smooth running walk and a nice racking gait.

He also has a lovely rocking chair canter. Biggie is excellent in traffic as well as the woods. Cars, trucks, motorcyclAes, bicycles or semis don’t phase him. He is fantastic on the trail, he will ease up and over anything. Will cross water and mud with ease. Biggie is great around wildlife and livestock as well. Since I was here, I have always taken him out to check the fence and cows. Bottom line is if you want a BIG STOUT SMOOTH GELDING where else in the world are you going to find one like THE BIG SHOW!!!!
