Zeus sells with a 10-day guarantee (call for details). He is a stout-built TRUE BLUE ROAN draft cross gelding standing around 16.1-16.2hh, weighing 1400 lbs, and being 5 years old. He is one of the kindest and gentlest horses you will find! Zeus is out of the same breeding program as several other top draft cross geldings we have had over the last 4 years, and every one of them has the right mind and calm nature, which makes them great family horses.

Zeus has been in our program since last year, has completed the natural horsemanship training, and does liberty work, and he also knows some tricks; he will bow, lie down, and set on his rump. Zeus has been ridden by every member of our family down to our 5-year-old. He has been ridden down the highways we have had in town, and even though the bank drive-thru, he is very traffic safe. Zeus is great on trails and will cross creeks, ditches, logs, and navigate rough rocky areas. He has a smooth jog, a very lovely easy-to-set lope, a good stop, and quickly turns a circle both ways and backs!

He has been exposed to various wildlife, such as deer, turkey, or other animals like cows or dogs, and will go anywhere he is asked to. He has ridden miles in the Eastern Kentucky mountains and encountered every obstacle on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and all rough terrain while still being sure-footed. Zeus is not finicky, cold-backed, and does not crib or weave. In addition to riding, Zeus has also been driven down the highway. Zeus is not a myth, he is the real deal!!!
