Amazon is a VERY stout built Bay Tobiano Draftcross Gelding, standing 16.1hh, and weighing 1400lbs, he is 11 years old and is simply outstanding! Amazon has been with us for a year and has completed our natural horsemanship program. He is so gentle, laid back and steady that anyone will get along with him and have years and years of happy trail miles together! Amazon is trained to lay down for mounting and discounting. He also will sit on his rump. Amazon will loop nice circles, slide stop and back with ease! Amazon has a very soft and easy loop! He is a very confident horse that is not spooky around anything or any situation, and he is as close to being bombproof as you’ll see. He has been camping in several states.

He has been used in all aspects of ranching from roping and dragging cows, to sorting and loading… Not only will he ride western, he will also go English and has been started on jumps. Amazon loves attention in any form that he can get, whether brushing or bathing, and has a ton of personality! He has been ridden around farm equipment, ATVs, over large noisy tarps and has also had guns shot off of his back. Amazon is not spooky acting, no matter where he goes or what he does, He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife, such as deer, turkey, or other animals like cows or dogs, and will go anywhere he is asked to. He has ridden many miles in the Kentucky mountains and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and all rough terrain while still being sure-footed. One thing that you can count on is that Amazon always delivers!
