“Frank the Tank” – 12.2H, 9 year old grade sorrel paint haflinger cross gelding Frank the Tank is a super fun gelding that is the perfect height. He is so easy to get on and off of, at only 12.2 hands – but he is as stout as they make them, has tons of foot and bone, and can easily carry an adult rider. Watch his videos – he easily fills out the leg of our adult riders, but he is incredibly easy to handle and convenient for shorter heights. If you are looking for a fun height for your kids that they won’t outgrow overnight, this is your guy – or if you are looking for a smaller horse for an adult rider that is easy to saddle and get on and off of.
Frank has been a million miles out on the trails, loves to go to town, and is very comfortable around traffic and commotion. He rides out just as well alone as he does in a group. Frank was driven by a previous owner when he was younger, but his past family just used him for pleasure riding. He rides both English and western and has been to several local events. He would be a great mount for pony club and entry level hunter/jumper/dressage shows, he has been started over fences and loves to jump! He could also be fun for the low level playdays. By far, his largest attributes are his fun, sweet, friendly disposition, strong personality, and willingness to try anything that you put in front of him! Please check back for more videos of Frank to be posted this coming week at BusterHorses.com. Frank was just trimmed last week, and his teeth were also done by an equine dentist last week. At the same time, he had his sheath cleaned, his ears preemptively treated for ticks, and he was also power packed and wormed. Frank is also good at shoes, but he has great feet and goes really well barefoot. If his new owner prefers him to be shod, we can have him shod prior to him heading to his new home. He will arrive at his new home up-to-date and ready to go to work!
