Ocho

Ocho is a 7-year-old Andalusian mare that stands 16.1 hands tall and is a total love-bug! We have a picture of her registration papers to see her lineage, but she is selling grade. Ocho is among the sweetest, most affectionate mares around; she loves to be loved and pampered. Ocho stands nicely in the tie, single or cross tied. Is patient for being groomed and saddled and is wonderful for a bath. She is behaved and respectful for both the farrier and the vet to work on. She loads and hauls easily into any style trailer and off loads quietly. Ocho arena rides or goes down the trail and will ride English or western. She loves being out on trails or through fields.

She’s great around dogs, other horses, traffic and equipment. She will ride over logs and through mud and water, up and down steep grades and up for some trail blazing. Ocho will ride walk/trot/canter and takes both leads. She is learning to collect into contact and has started on leg yields both ways. She floats and is incredibly comfortable under saddle in all gaits and transitions! Ocho is soft laterally and has an excellent whoa and back up. We carried a flag on her, the large beach umbrella, and rode her easily over tarps, ground poles, and wooden bridges. Ocho lives nearly in a stall or does well turned out in a mixed herd, she is also easy to catch. She sells 100% with no vices or limitations.
