“Trike” – 14H, 11-year-old grade roan haflinger cross gelding Trike is absolutely gorgeous and built like a brick house – he is extremely friendly and comes running when you call. He is super comfortable and easy to ride, very simple and uncomplicated. He has ridden both English and Western, and when he was younger, he was also driven. He has been used primarily for trail riding with his past owner and has also been to several events and parades. Trike has a big stop and plants his booty anytime you mention the word “whoa”! He travels around relaxed and naturally low-headed on a long loose rein. He is a joy to be around – he stands statue still for mount and dismount. He is great about the mounting block or will stand patiently while you climb a truck fence or the side of your trailer to get on.

He is great-footed and will go over any terrain you point him at with confidence and pay attention to where he places his feet. He is great about going across changing terrains and new lighting, past windows and mirrors, signs, etc. He hops right on the trailer, is easy to catch and handle, is great to groom, relaxed to saddle, bridle, and bathe. I have no complaints with this guy, just a good easy solid citizen! He rides even softer in the bridle now than he does here! At the same time, he had his sheath cleaned, his ears preemptively treated for ticks, and he was also power-packed wormed. Trike has great feet and could also go well barefoot – if his new owner prefers him to be barefoot, we can have his shoes pulled prior to him heading to his new home. He will arrive at his new home up-to-date and ready to go to work!
